The Prime Timers' (Senior Adult) Ministry is intended to provide spiritual and physical enrichment for adults who are fifty-five years old and up. The Prime Timers’ leadership works diligently in planning and offering seniors a variety of Christ-centered activities. This ministry hosts a Fellowship Luncheon every other month, prepares for and presents Bible devotions and inspirational music to shut-ins and Nursing Home residents, and encourages seniors to participate in scheduled trips and other gatherings designed to build the faith and brighten the lives of the young at heart.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The summer is upon us - children out of school, vacation times coming up, but we are still in the helping business.
Be sure to get the word out that our seniors are willing to take anyone to the doctor, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. All you have to do is contact Brenda Kennedy and she will get in touch with the ones who have volunteered to assist.
The Prime Timers Choir will not meet in the months of July and August. I will be gone to Sanford to take care of my Mom and some of the others will be having surgery and possibly be on vacation.
Our Prime Timers Planning Meeting scheduled for July will be rescheduled for August 16th. Hopefully we will get back into full swing come September. We covet your prayers for those that are sick, having surgery and traveling. Have a wonderful July/August and thank you for remembering us on a regular basis.
